Education

Bachelor of Arts degree- Luther College, Decorah Iowa

License in Alcohol and Drug Counseling- Bethel University, St. Paul, MN

Masters of Professional Studies degree in Integrated Behavioral Health- University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, MN

Sex Therapy Certification- University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, MN

Clinical Approach

Shelby is a somatic, trauma-informed therapist who helps adults reconnect with themselves, understand their nervous system, and heal from experiences that still live in the body. She works from the belief that our physical responses often tell the truth long before our thoughts catch up—and when we learn to listen, meaningful change finally becomes possible.

Through a blend of Polyvagal Theory, emotion regulation, attachment work, somatic expression, and parts work, Shelby creates a therapy experience that feels grounding, honest, and collaborative. Her approach is direct and authentic, offering a space where clients can explore their stories with both emotional and physical safety. Shelby trusts each client to be the leader of their own healing, and she walks alongside them with steady support, curiosity, and compassion.

Areas of focus include:

  • Anxiety and depression
  • Complex and chronic trauma, including sexual trauma
  • Nervous system dysregulation and overwhelm
  • Chronic pain and the mind–body connection
  • Relationship concerns, intimacy struggles, and couples work
  • Sex therapy
  • Parenting stress and postpartum mental health
  • Women’s health and identity transitions
  • Emotional disconnection, numbness, and difficulty regulating feelings

Shelby works especially well with adults who feel “stuck in their heads,” have tried traditional talk therapy without relief, or are longing for a deeper, body-based approach to healing. Sessions with Shelby are grounded, collaborative, and rooted in the belief that the mind and body must heal together. She offers a calm, attuned presence while still being honest and direct—no sugar-coating, no pretending everything is fine when it isn’t. Her goal is to help clients build a life that feels more connected, embodied, and aligned with who they truly are.

When she’s not working, Shelby is usually exploring the outdoors, reading, spending time with family and friends, or adding yet another skincare or makeup product to her ever-growing collection. Most of her free time is currently devoted to her puppy, Wolfe—who she lovingly insists is the cutest dog on the planet.

Shelby provides therapy under the clinical direction of a licensed supervisor while completing post-graduate licensure requirements.

She/Her/Hers Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and MN State Approved Licensed Supervisor LPCC
Education

Bachelor of Science degree - University of River Falls, WI

Master of Arts degree in Psychology Counseling - Bethel University, St. Paul, MN

Clinical Approach

Shannon believes therapy is not a “one-size fits all” approach, and that all individuals and families are unique in their experiences. Therefore, therapy is going to look different for each person and family. While many individuals seek support to address personal concerns, Shannon focuses on the individual within the context of a system to help address those concerns. She highlights how the systems we are all a part of (family, school, work, community) impact us, and how viewing ourselves as a product of our systems can promote the positive change we desire for ourselves.

Shannon enjoys getting to know each individual and family, to support them in their challenges, to highlight personal strengths, and to delight with them in their progress. Her areas of strength include anxiety, depression, adjustments, trauma, and child-adult relationships, as well as, supporting parents with challenges that come along with having a child with extra needs. Shannon serves individuals (ages 13+), families and couples.

Clinical Approach

Sydney recognizes the strength and courage it takes to come to therapy. She is passionate about offering a safe space where clients can be vulnerable, curious, and comfortable being themselves. Sydney believes the relationship between therapist and client is one of the most important parts of the work, and she values openness, connection, and emotional safety in every session.

Sydney works with adults and teens who are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, and patterns that feel hard to break. Many of her clients describe feeling overwhelmed or stuck, and Sydney helps them build clarity, confidence, and healthier ways of coping.

She blends gentle support with evidence-based tools to help clients understand what’s beneath the surface while developing long-term skills for managing emotions and navigating life’s challenges. Pre- Licensed Therapist
Education

Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy- Capella University

Clinical Approach

Echo is a warm, grounded therapist who works with teens, adults, and families in the Chanhassen area and throughout Minnesota via telehealth. She takes a strengths-based, client-centered approach to therapy, believing that every person carries the capacity to heal and grow — sometimes they just need the right support, tools, and perspective to get there.

Echo collaborates closely with clients to help them understand their emotions, navigate relationship challenges, build healthier communication, and move through the stress, anxiety, and life transitions that so many people face today. She operates from a systemic lens, meaning she considers the whole picture — your relationships, environment, identity, history, and the roles you hold — rather than focusing narrowly on symptoms or labels.

Echo works with teens and adults dealing with anxiety, depression, emotional regulation challenges, trauma, family or parenting stress, codependency, self-esteem concerns, peer relationships, and LGBTQ+ experiences. She supports clients using a blend of Solution-Focused Therapy, Family Systems, mindfulness-based skills, and trauma-informed, collaborative approaches. Her style is conversational, validating, and practical — focused on helping you understand yourself, feel more grounded, and navigate life with confidence.

Outside of the office, you can find Echo exploring new restaurants, trying every chai latte within a 20-mile radius, reading, or spending time with her dog, Disco.

She/Her/Hers Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor
Education

Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology - St. Thomas University

Clinical Approach

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families. I have worked with clients struggling with a wide variety of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship struggles, parenting related issues, and perinatal mental health concerns.

The decision to start therapy takes courage. I am truly honored to be a part of my client's journey of growth. Whether you are facing a major life change, have experienced trauma, or are just looking for a place to receive support, I am here to walk alongside you. Drawing largely from psychodynamic, attachment and systemic therapy approaches, I find value in exploring the past to create a more productive future. Additionally, as a Marriage and Family Therapist, I use a systemic lens when working with clients. I believe learning about how culture, community, and family or origin have impacted my client's development and their world views is critical for growth to occur. I will work to learn about my clients and individuals and honor what is important to them in order to work together on therapy goals.

Knowing that clients are the experts on their own lives, I develop individual therapy treatment plans collaboratively with clients. I strive to foster a strong, trusting, non-judgmental, therapeutic relationship, as this is essential to the therapy work. My goal as a therapist is to create a therapy space that is comfortable, supportive, and fun, where learning and growth can occur.
