The vision of Collaborative Counseling is to guide and inspire people to overcome the obstacles they face and strive towards their goals. Our goal is to help people bring more joy, laughter and love into their life. It is our mission to provide counseling that will help people live their lives to the fullest by supporting them through difficult times as well as teaching them skills that will allow them to make changes and progress towards a healthier, happier, more fulfilling life.
In addition to in-person appointments, Collaborative Counseling also offers online therapy via Zoom. Telehealth has been proven to be just as effective as in-person therapy while offering the added convenience of meeting from the location that suits you best. Due to high demand for our services, those open to online therapy may find it easier to secure appointments.
Please note that all of our providers are independent contractors. Additionally, provider availability varies so please contact our administrative team to inquire about who is available for new clients. Thank you!

Ryan is passionate about providing a supportive environment for people that are ready to make a change. He loves being able to help clients build a life they can be happy with. Ryan wants to work with his clients to identify goals, assist in building healthy relationships, and move them toward becoming a more confident and resilient individual. He offers a safe space for his clients to open up about whatever struggles they may be dealing with but also challenge them to grow.
Ryan works with adults, teens and kids with anxiety and depression, and other general life stressors. He also works with people within the LGBTQ population and neurodivergent individuals.
Ryan recently graduated from the University of St. Thomas with his MA in Counseling Psychology. He has experience working within a dialectical behavior therapy framework, cognitive behavioral therapy framework and comes from a person-centered approach.

Dawn seeks to create a space for those who feel disconnected from their emotions, their bodies, or their sense of self. She specializes in working with adults and teens who are seeking help for trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, grief/loss, and life transitions. Prior to becoming a therapist, she has worked in academic medicine supporting healthcare providers, patients and families involved in medical errors.
Dawn seeks to understand your values, goals and what you find meaningful in life. Her practice is trauma-informed and she has experience working with people from diverse backgrounds and identities. She is committed to providing gender-affirming care and support to the LGBTQI+ community. Her approach is structured, yet approachable and relaxed. As a former trauma informed yoga instructor, Dawn sees benefit in the therapeutic applications of mindfulness, movement and meditation.
Dawn has received specialized training in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), which is a specific type of cognitive behavioral therapy that has been effective in reducing symptoms of PTSD that have developed after experiencing a variety of traumatic events. She is also pursuing advanced training in Nature Based Therapy.
Dawn takes a person-centered approach to therapy that focuses on your strengths and is designed to promote empowerment. Her work also integrates mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to support emotion regulation, self-expression and overall well-being.

Echo works from strength based and client centered approaches. She believes that everyone is the expert of their own person, and everyone has the ability and power to heal themselves. Her goal in therapy is to offer collaboration to help empower everyone on their own journey. Operating from a systemic approach Echo believes that it is important to look at all factors and influences of someone’s life rather than just them as an individual.
Working with all ages Echo utilizes a variety of therapeutic styles including Solution Focused, Family Systems, and Collaborative therapy to foster a supportive environment that is strength-based, trauma-informed and client-centered.
When not in the office, she loves to spend time exploring new restaurants and coffee shops, spending way too much on chai lattes, reading, or spending time with her dog Disco.

Kari Lyn is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Certified Life Coach, LMFT, LPC and LPCC Board Approved Supervisor, speaker, teacher, and writer. She has an insatiable desire to learn and loves researching and finding the most effective ways to help her clients. She works with individuals, couples, and families, favoring modalities such as Internal Family Systems, Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT), AIR Network, KAP (Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy), Neurology, Guided Imagery, Adaptive Healing, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
When she’s not working or learning, her favorite thing to do is travel, but because she can’t do that all the time, she also enjoys yoga, meditation, singing, walks in nature and meaningful conversations with her tribe (family and close friends).
